Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for our current clients. If you ever feel that your pet or livestock needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call. Emergencies can range from rat bait poisonings to hit by car to colic to difficulty giving birth. We have an in-house digital radiograph/X-ray system for immediate results. We also provide medical boarding overnight and through the weekend as needed for emergencies.
***PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept new clients on Saturdays or after hours. We only accept new clients during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
Surgery
We realize that it can be stressful to have your pet undergo surgery. We want to assure you that your pet is in good hands and that we will do everything to provide the best care possible. We will communicate with you about the things you need to know before, during, and after your pet’s surgery. It is our goal to make the entire process go smoothly and to eliminate the stress and worry of surgical procedures. Dr. Ellis is trained and experienced at the Lateral Suture Technique for Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair.
Wellness Exams
We believe that regular checkups and wellness exams are critical to your pet’s well-being. These wellness exams give us a chance to evaluate the overall health of your pet while also giving us a baseline for their unique bodies and tendencies.
Grooming
The only grooming that we provide is for pets that need to be sedated in order to be groomed. We do not perform grooming on pets that could be done without sedation at a regular groomer.
At-Home Euthanasia
Unfortunately, you may need to make the difficult decision to put your pet to sleep someday. We are glad we can provide the option of an in-home euthanasia where we will come to your house/farm to lay your pet to rest in familiar settings. This can help keep a pet stress free and comfortable for their last moments in life. Please let us know if we can provide this service for you.
